How to unlock a PDF
Upload the protected PDF, enter its password and click Unlock. You get a copy with the password and any print, copy or edit restrictions removed.
Restrictions-only files
Some PDFs open without a password but block printing or copying. Leave the password blank for those.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device, so your files never leave your computer and there is no file-size limit imposed by a server. Very large files are limited only by your device's memory.
Can this crack a PDF when I've forgotten the password?
No. It only removes a password you can supply. It does not guess or break unknown passwords.
Is it legal to unlock a PDF?
Unlocking documents you own or have permission to open is fine. Don't use it to bypass protections on documents you aren't entitled to access.
